Abstract We describe an activity developed as laboratory at home during the pandemic period by which it is possible to investigate numerically and experimentally a harmonically driven pendulum with variable frequency. realized prototype using LEGO ® bricks EV3 motor. Because undergoes large amplitude oscillations, motion has been studied implementing non-linear numerical model in Python. Students can acquire experimental data software of video analysis compare them model. This approach allows integrate, varying levels complexity, computational skills into practice.
